Frequently asked questions
How do I get a photo between 20 KB and 50 KB?
Choose the photo and pick the form's size, or enter your own KB range. The tool adjusts quality and pixel size until the file lands inside the limit, and the pin on the ruler turns green.
How do I set an exact pixel size, like 200 × 230?
Choose "Enter your own size" and type the width and height in pixels. The size then stays fixed and only the JPG quality changes.
Does shrinking a photo make it look worse?
A little detail is lost, since the JPG is re-compressed. At a very small limit (say 10 KB) the photo can look slightly soft. Zooming in to crop tighter around the face or signature usually gives a better result.
How reliable are the exam sizes shown here?
We couldn't read the official notification PDFs from here, so these sizes come from coaching and news sites. A size confirmed by at least two independent sources is marked "cross-checked"; everything else carries a single-source warning. Always confirm against the official site before you upload.
Is my file uploaded to a server?
No. The file is processed entirely in your browser. This site has no upload server, and its security headers stop the browser from connecting anywhere else.
