Does the text and quality stay the same?
Yes. Merging copies the pages directly — no page is turned into an image — so the text stays selectable.
The merged file is over the size limit — now what?
Shrink it with the PDF compress tool. That turns pages into images, so text will no longer be selectable.
Can password-protected PDFs be merged?
No. Remove the password first, then merge. The tool will tell you which file is the problem.
Is my file uploaded to a server?
No. The file is processed entirely in your browser. This site has no upload server, and its security headers stop the browser from connecting anywhere else.
